MCL have an immediate vacancy for a Senior Buyer for an FPSO Project

Duration:  Initial 12 month contract with an immediate start

Location:  5 days per week in client's offices in Leatherhead. Hybrid working may be possible with two days remote.

Rate:  £55.00 per hour Ltd Company 

The role is likely to be outside IR35 but the final decision will be made after a Qdos assessment

• Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers for the procurement of goods, services and supplies.
• Takes responsibility for purchases in support of customer-related business processes or for internal use.
• Discusses defects and delivery problems with suppliers, and is responsible for negotiating refunds.
• Coordinates with operations, maintenance, warehouse and engineering to ensure proper scheduling and movement of goods and supplies.  
• Under general supervision, solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices.
• Uses experience and problem solving skills to develop and improve processes.
• May provide guidance to less experienced team members.

• Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience.
