UPDATE: Warrington / Cumbria, 2 / 3 days per week on site with travel to opposite site potentially once per month

 

Duration of Contract:

Rate:

£600 per day neg

Job Description:

The role is part of the PPP support to the Digital Asset Management (DAM) programme within Sellafield. The PPP support to DAM is an integrated project team with members from PPP and Sellafield’s asset management capability.

The DAM programme is a site wide delivery improvement programme supporting Sellafield’s improvement requirements, the programme aims to address a number of issues with Sellafield’s asset management arrangements with a targeted outcome of: “An integrated information line of sight from the asset through to the enterprise that integrates activities across the asset lifecycle, removes the burden of paper-based work processes from our teams and engages everyone in the use of modern digital technologies to inform decision making”

Role Responsibilities:

The Information Manager will ensure organisation, storage, retrieval, and dissemination of project-related information to ensure timely access and accuracy for all stakeholders.

Main duties include:
•    Develop and deliver project information management strategy in line with DAM Programme delivery strategy and the project execution plan.
•    Responsible for ensuring the overall project processes and standards (incl BIM, Document control etc…) are in line with the Asset Management strategy, IM strategy and PPP standards. 
•    Interpret and communicate programme and project specific contracted information requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
•    Implement policies relating to information security, confidentiality, export controls and protection of intellectual property with the project. 
•    Ensure project team members are appropriately aware of the use of digital tools and understand what IM is within the project and their roles and responsibilities. 
•    Promote effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
•    Continually searches for ways to improve customer service, including the removal of barriers and providing solutions.
•    Work with other department leads to build the collaborative working culture to ensure the success of the project and overall programme.
•    Act as an advocate on information security best practices across the project and utilising assistance from digital security experts within the programme team. 
•    Develop, maintain and timely expediting of Project and Programme reporting requirements and procedures.
•    Prepare and make presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
