Overview

MCL are looking for multiple Senior Electrical Engineers for our Oil and Gas client in Aberdeen.

Duration: If on a contract basis then estimated durations are 6 months with possible extensions thereafter.

However this may also be available as a Staff role.

Location: Aberdeen or Glasgow – hybrid working 3 days in the office with flexibility to work from home for 2 days.

Responsibilities

Key Duties:
  • Identify the scope of work required
  • Input to project plans and schedules.  
  • Identify areas of concern during any project or study. 
  • Produce cost-effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value to address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution.
  • Supervise the time of others

About You:

  • Our ideal candidate will enjoy team working, will be customer and quality focused, can use their own initiative and will be responsive to our business and client needs.
  • Have a degree in a relevant subject
  • Have significant previous experience in detail design with an understanding of other disciplines. 
  • You need to have some experience and an interest in working with AutoDesk products.
  • Have significant Brownfield experience
  • Drilling Facilities experience would be advantageous
