MCL requires a Principal Electrical Engineer on an Onshore FEED Project with BP.

Duration: for an initial 12 month contract role that has an immediate start

Rate: a target limited company rate of circa £65.00 per hour.

Location: The role will be based in the Clients Offices in Leatherhead. Hybrid working is possible with two days remote.

The role is likely to be outside IR35 but the final decision will be made after a QDOS assessment

**Candidates MUST have UK Right to Work**

• The Principal Electrical Engineer with demonstrable experience of designing electrical systems for voltages up to 132kV including overhead lines, reactive power compensation etc for various energy transition projects in FEED and / or EPC.

• Their experience shall include designs for 132kV electrical distribution systems, interfacing with grid company, protection requirements and brownfield modifications.

• Knowledge should include BP Standards and Grid Code requirements.

• The work is for brownfield modifications associated with the tie-in of a grid connection to an existing power system in FEED stage.

• The work will include development of SLDs / load lists, sizing HV equipment, UPS systems, development of philosophies, specifications and datasheets.

• They will be working as part of a team supporting the lead engineer.
